Voters in the US, and most of the world, are facing a harsh reality. There really is only a one-party system and because of this forced system, an actual representative system is not on any ballot. The one minor shot US voters have in a real representative system is with the initiatives they are voting on, but even now, the billionaires and lobby groups are manipulating voters and throwing immense amount of money at disinformation ads.
Politicians in the US work for one person and that is the person with deep pockets open to some shady dealings.
There really are no more Mr. Smith’s going to Washington. They’ve all been bought out or they’re pedophiles in the Epstein files.
It’s not looking good for us, folks.
We cannot vote our way out of this because there are fascists in both parties who have destroyed the avenues for change.
Even Karen Bass is receiving funding from the GOP for her campaign. It couldn’t be clearer that this is a closed one-party system but some people purposely choose to dismiss what is in front of their faces.
Somewhere there are liberals reading this and losing their minds and that’s perfectly fine because they need to hear this.
The red flags are everywhere for those who want are willing to see them.
Genocide is the most major red flag that could ever exist. There’s few if any legislation protecting human rights, let alone political parties that will go to bat for human rights, which are innate to each human, but matters nothing to those in power. They are selective and anyone that is selective in who they deem worthy of human rights is a fascist plain and simple. Democrats in power will deny they have committed genocide while funding and arming the IDF, but claim human rights matter. Republicans will also deny they have committed genocide. It’s really no different with either party. Republicans just don’t care about human rights at all while Democrats do when it is convenient to them.
There are so many red flags but one that is pressing and jeopardizing innocent people is the abortion bans sweeping across the US. Pregnant people have lost the right to abortion care in the US with few states legalizing it. Even the states that have safeguarded abortion access, many are still undermining protections for providers who help people seeking abortions out of state. This isn’t even a topic of discussion or debate for policy makers in the Democratic Party and that is a major red flag. There are people dying and nothing is being done.
Trump is a pedophile, rapist, racist, misogynist, and to top it off his dementia is accelerating so he is even more unhinged than ever. Trump is not only a red flag but an activated nuclear warhead of all warnings. First he promises no attacks on Iran if they win the midterms. Then he says he’s unsure what his plans are for Iran. Now he’s contemplating nuclear war. Flipping 180 degrees and threatening nuclear war as well as shutting down the government with his veto power which he is also threatening that should illicit immediate impeachment proceedings. Where is this even a discussion among Dems? Oh yeah, Kamala Harris discouraged impeachment in a recent interview. So much for opposition. There has never been a president more impeachable than Trump yet here he is sitting and threatening global destruction as well as a government incapacitated at his own hand.
If Dems wanted to win easily they could call Trump and Republicans out on the Epstein files and promise Americans that everyone in the files will be prosecuted. There are new rape charges against Trump and no one in the liberal sphere is discussing this as an actual issue. It is a huge problem to have a president accused of raping children and women. It is absolutely disgusting that he or any person in the Epstein files has a position in government. How is this not discussed? How is no one talking about safety of children and women?
Now there’s something that needs to be pointed out and explained of a scheme that the Democrats are utilizing. There’s a whole song and dance that Dems are doing to trick voters into voting for them, and this is directly targeted at leftists in order to get their vote. Obviously no leftist is going to vote for a republican ever but the democrats want that vote. They used this tactic with Mamdani and now they’re doing this with El-Sayed. The Democrats are posing them as extreme leftists that the party “doesn’t like” in order to entice leftists into voting for them. It’s like when a teenager is told not to date someone because their crush is viewed as “bad influence” and that’s what drives the teenager into the relationship. Same thing. The reality is that these candidates don’t actually stand for a free Palestine, but they do stand for everything the Democratic Party supports which is their wealthy donors. Just look at Mamdani and his promise to arrest Netanyahu but all Palestinians get is an olive tree that he planted which is probably dead (olive trees are not suited for that zone of climate). It’s a two-fold ploy on voters. One, let’s make these candidates look like the rebel. Two, then comes the reality that they are nothing more than a run of the mill centrist that does the bidding of the party and the moneyed interests that funded them. The leftists that voted for these politicians want an end to genocide and now are whole-heatedly defending leaders who have lied about their position on a free Palestine and thereby moving these “leftists” to the right where the politicians actually stand. This has sadly worked on a lot of now former leftists.
The US needs a multi-party system to be truly representative. We are headed for a horrifying crash if changes are not made immediately.
There is one good thing at least. More people are waking up to what is really taking place and able to see past the theatrics, lies, and manipulation. Splash some water on that beautiful face, it is time to wake up, America.
With the gut punches continuing for all voters on the left, it’s with an intense sense of dread seeing only two parties because the outcome is assured. The fascists won.
Don’t skip voting, though. It is your voice and it is your choice. At least there’s always the initiatives…
